📅 Booking & Dates
How far in advance can I book? ?

You can book from tomorrow onwards (same-day bookings are not accepted). The maximum advance booking window is 1 month from today's date.

What rental durations are available? ?

We offer fixed rental plans: 1 Day, 2 Days, 3 Days, 1 Week, and 1 Month. We don't offer custom durations at this time.

Can I extend my rental period? ?

Yes! Extensions are subject to console availability. To request an extension, contact us on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before your rental end date. Extension charges will be as per the applicable daily rate at the time of extension. We cannot guarantee extensions if the console is already booked by another customer.

Can I cancel or modify my booking? ?

Please contact us on WhatsApp as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify. Cancellation terms apply depending on notice given before the delivery date. Reach out to us and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

🚚 Delivery & Pickup
Where do you deliver? ?

We deliver across Chennai. Delivery is free of charge. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, message us on WhatsApp before booking.

What are the delivery time slots? ?

We deliver in the following fixed time slots - [Time slots to be updated by the team]. You can select your preferred slot at checkout. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address during your chosen slot.

How does pickup work at the end of the rental? ?

Our team will pick up the console on the last day of your rental period during a scheduled pickup slot. We will contact you a day before to confirm the pickup time. Please ensure all items (console, controllers, cables) are packed and ready for collection.

Will your team help with setup? ?

Yes! Our delivery team will set up the PS5 at your home - connecting to your TV, checking all accessories, and ensuring everything works before they leave.

đŸ’ŗ Payment & Deposit
How much is the security deposit? ?

A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of delivery and depends on your plan: ₹2,000 (3 Days), ₹2,500 (1 Week), ₹5,000 (1 Month). This is separate from the rental charge and is returned in full when the console is returned in good condition.

When will I get my deposit back? ?

The deposit is refunded within 24-48 hours of pickup, after our team inspects the returned equipment. If there is no damage, the full deposit amount will be returned via the same payment method.

What payment methods do you accept? ?

We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking. The rental amount is paid at booking and the security deposit is collected at delivery (cash or UPI).

🎮 Games & Controllers
How many controllers come with the rental? ?

Every rental includes 1 DualSense Wireless Controller as standard. You can add a 2nd controller for ₹100 per day (charged for the full rental period) at Step 1 of the booking process.

How do games work - are they physical discs or digital? ?

We provide a Digital PS5 console. Games are pre-installed digitally on the console before delivery. You choose your games during the booking process (Step 2). Game rental fees are charged per day for the full rental period.

Can I bring my own games or use my own PS account? ?

Since we provide a Digital PS5, you cannot use physical discs. You are welcome to log into your own PlayStation Network account on the console during your rental to access your purchased games or PS Plus library. Please remember to log out before returning the console.

đŸ› ī¸ Damage & Return Policy
âš ī¸ Damage Policy

Hire and Play Technologies Private Limited takes great care to deliver consoles in excellent condition. We expect customers to treat the equipment with the same care.

Customers are fully responsible for any damage that occurs to the console, controllers, or accessories during the rental period. This includes:

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, broken ports, scratched disc tray)
  • Liquid damage
  • Damage to controllers, cables, or HDMI port
  • Missing accessories at the time of return

Damage charges will be assessed at actual repair or replacement cost and will be deducted from the security deposit. If repair/replacement costs exceed the deposit amount, the customer will be required to pay the difference.

Note: Normal wear and tear is expected and will not be charged. Our team will inspect the console at pickup and any damage will be documented with photographs before any charges are raised.

🔄 Return Policy

Please ensure the following when returning the console:

  • All accessories (console, controller/s, HDMI cable, power cable, USB-C charging cable) must be returned
  • The console must be powered off and packed safely before our team arrives
  • Log out of any personal PlayStation Network accounts
  • Returns must be ready during the agreed pickup time slot

If you are not available during the scheduled pickup and require a reschedule, please notify us via WhatsApp at least 3 hours in advance. Delayed returns beyond the rental end date will be charged at the applicable daily rate.

🔁 Extension Policy

Want to keep the PS5 for longer? No problem - extensions are welcome subject to availability.

  • Contact us on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before your rental end date
  • Extensions are granted based on console availability - we cannot guarantee an extension if the unit is pre-booked
  • Extension charges apply from the original end date at the standard daily rate (₹499/day)
  • The security deposit remains held until final return

How do I reach customer support? ?

We provide support exclusively via WhatsApp. Our team is available 10 AM - 10 PM, every day.

What if the console has a technical issue during my rental? ?

If you face any technical issue with the console (not caused by damage), contact us immediately on WhatsApp. We will either troubleshoot remotely or arrange a replacement unit at the earliest. Technical faults with the console are our responsibility.
